About

Residing in a small village south of Gravenhurst, Ontario, Barb is a self-taught Realist artist.

Composing scenes of landscapes and wildlife as her starting point, Barb applies her personal vision, style and technique to achieve a reality of the natural world that many seldom see.

Barb has released several Limited Edition Giclée prints from her original acrylic paintings and completed a number of private projects including works of art for Pleasant Manor Retirement Village in Virgil, Ontario.

Barb is a proud Signature Member of the AFC (Artist for Conservation).

Artist’s Statement:  “Through my art, my wish is to help create an awareness of the importance of sustaining and protecting natural habitat and wildlife.  Their continued existence and evolution is in direct balance with ours.  After all, we share this beautiful planet with them.”
